On September 30th 2020, the Arroyo Grande Police Department served a search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of South 4th Street in Grover Beach in connection with an identity theft investigation. Investigators located evidence of the crime as well as additional stolen property. Investigators arrested 51 year old Cristobal Lopez of Grover Beach on felony charges and booked him into the San Luis Obispo County Jail.
The Arroyo Grande Police Department was assisted by officers from the Grover Beach Police Department.
