Egg Hunt Banner

ARROYO GRANDE - Due to the current recommendations from the County and to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the Thirty-First Annual Family Egg Hunt and Festival scheduled for April 11, 2020 at Elm Street Park has been cancelled. However, in its place, the Recreation Services Department is providing a Virtual Egg Hunt that families and youth can enjoy on their own while keeping participants safe and active.

Every day a new clue will be released that asks participants to go outside and solve clues that are found around Arroyo Grande. Participants will be able to keep their distance while still enjoying a good old fashioned scavenger hunt. Every participant is a winner and prizes include DIY egg hunt materials, Easter baskets and so much more! This local, yet physically distanced, egg hunt will feature local businesses, parks, and Arroyo Grande’s iconic destinations. For more information and to join the fun, visit the event’s website at www.arroyogrande.org/egghunt2020.

The Recreation Services Department is also excited to announce the ‘Daily Fun AG Rec Calendar’! Each day of the week, starting on April 3rd, families are encouraged to participate and have fun with science or art craft activities, indoor or outdoor games, suggestions on how to give back to the community, visits with some of your favorite childcare and preschool staff and more! The activities are free, so join in the fun and check out the daily calendar at www.arroyogrande.org.

The Recreation Services Department is evolving daily and continues to provide opportunities for community members to connect with family members and neighbors in meaningful ways. Join the #agrec team today to find out how you can stay connected!
