[ARCHIVED] Arroyo Grande 4th of July "Safe and Sane" Fireworks Discharge Allowable Only on July 4th

The discharge of “safe and sane” fireworks is now limited to July 4th only.

 At their April 23, 2019 meeting, the Arroyo Grande City Council amended Chapter 8.08 of the Arroyo Grande Municipal Code related to the discharge of “safe and sane” fireworks.

 “Safe and Sane” fireworks sales begin at 12 Noon June 28th and conclude at 12 Noon July 5th.  However, fireworks are permissible for discharge ONLY on July 4th.

 Violations may be deemed a misdemeanor and violators may be assessed a fine up to $1,000.
