[ARCHIVED] City of Arroyo Grande Implements New Recreation Management System

The City of Arroyo Grande Recreation Services Department is proud to announce the launch of its new recreation management system in partnership with CivicRec.

The new system offers citizens easier access to recreation activities and facilities and streamlines the registration process.

CivicRec allows citizens greater visibility into offered parks and recreation activities, classes, sports, youth leagues, and more convenient online registration and payment. It also allows citizens to conveniently search online and reserve community facilities such as BBQ’s, the community center, and bandstands.

“This software will assist participants to easily secure their children’s summer camps, classes and activities for the whole family”, said Sheridan Bohlken, Recreation Services Director.

The system is designed to be intuitive to navigate and easy for citizens to use. It is mobile-friendly, allowing citizens to search for community activities and events, register, and remit payment from a smartphone or tablet.

This newest enhancement is another way the City of Arroyo Grande is increasing its community engagement.
