The Five Cities Homeless Coalition and Peoples’ Self Help Housing are in the process of developing a conceptual project to compete in upcoming Homeless Emergency Aid Program (H.E.A.P) grant. This conceptual project is called the Homeless Navigation & Housing Project and is being considered at the Hillside Church property at 1935 Newport Avenue, Grover Beach, CA. This property is adjacent to the city limits of the City of Arroyo Grande.
This concept for a potential future project was discussed at the Grover Beach City Council meeting of February 19, 2019 (Item 6 Hillside Church Development Concept Plan). More information about the project concept presented at this meeting can be found on the City of Grover Beach's website.
If this conceptual plan becomes a project application through the City of Grover Beach, the City of Arroyo Grande could consider commenting on the project. If you would like to be notified of any City of Arroyo Grande meetings about this project please sign up here: Notify Me
