ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA – The City Council is seeking to fill an unscheduled vacancy on the Arroyo Grande Tourism Business Improvement District (AGTBID) Advisory Board. Members are appointed by the City Council, and the term will expire on February 13, 2022.
The AGTBID Advisory Board, consisting of nine members, is responsible for advising the City Council in the administration and use of the assessments funds collected from lodging businesses within the assessment district. The Board recommends projects to the City of Arroyo Grande to promote tourism to directly benefit the lodging industry. Members may live outside the City limits but must be persons who own lodging businesses within the AGTBID and/or have knowledge of tourism and/or the lodging industry.
Meetings are held the fourth Monday of each month at 3:30 p.m. in a location accessible to the public in Arroyo Grande. Special meetings may be called as needed. Members are subject to the City’s Conflict of Interest Code and are required to file periodic Statements of Economic Interest.
