[ARCHIVED] Updates on Storm Activity

There are numerous road closures throughout Arroyo Grande, most as a result of downed trees and power lines. Primary areas that are affected by road closures include Corbett Canyon/Highway 227, Huasna Road at Stagecoach, The Pike, and Brisco Road at Camino Mercado. As a result of power lines that are down, there are numerous areas without power and many intersections are without active traffic signals. Police, Fire and Public Works crews are in the field addressing the downed trees and performing further damage assessment, along with PG&E crews that are working to deenergize power lines and reestablish power. There is currently no estimate when power will be restored. To report any downed trees, flooding conditions or other issues, contact City Hall at 473-5400.
