There continue to be several road closures and power outages throughout Arroyo Grande, due to downed trees and power lines. The Pike between Elm Street and Halcyon is closed. PG&E is responding to downed power lines at this location and in other areas. Areas that are still affected by road closures include Corbett Canyon/Highway 227, Huasna Road at Stagecoach, and Brisco Road at El Camino. As a result of power lines that are down, there are numerous areas without power and many intersections are without active traffic signals. Pursuant to the California Vehicle Code, if traffic signals are out, vehicles must come to a complete stop before safely proceeding. Public Works crews have cleared many of the downed trees, and PG&E crews are working to restore power. There is currently no estimate when power will be restored. To report any downed trees in the public right of way (streets and sidewalks), street flooding conditions or other issues, please contact 473-5100.
