ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA – The City of Arroyo Grande will begin construction on the Fair Oaks Waterline Replacement Project on July 12, 2023, with completion expected in late September 2023. The working hours will be from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Fair Oaks Avenue between South Elm Street and Alder Street in Arroyo Grande.
This project will be an open trench installation of a new waterline and reconnection of existing water service lines and fire hydrants along Fair Oaks Avenue from South Elm Street to Alder Street. A new waterline will be installed to replace the existing waterline originally installed in 1929. Construction crews with trucks will deliver materials along Fair Oaks Avenue. Residents may experience traffic delays and detours, scheduled water shut offs, and an increased level of noise during hours of construction.
