The American Red Cross opened a shelter for residents who are under an Evacuation Warning or displaced due to flooding. The shelter is located at the Veterans Memorial Building, 801 Grand Ave in San Luis Obispo. The shelter will open at 8 PM on March 13 and will accept pets.

An evacuation warning has been issued from Tuesday at 3:00 AM until Tuesday at 10:00 PM by the City of Arroyo Grande for residents along Tally Ho Creek from Corbett Canyon Road to James Way. Residents are urged to prepare for an evacuation order if there is a potential threat to life and property. The Police Department encourages residents to move to higher ground and never drive through flooded roads.

The 5 Cities Homeless Coalition Warming Shelter is will open this evening, at the South County Regional Center, 800 West Branch, Arroyo Grande.
