ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA – The evacuation warning that was issued from Friday, March 10, 2023, at 11:00 AM, until Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 9:00 AM, by the City of Arroyo Grande, for residents along Tally Ho Creek from Corbett Canyon Road to James Way has been lifted. Residents are urged to remain vigilant regarding rising water from Tally Ho Creek that may impact their homes, particularly as a new atmospheric river event is expected to hit Arroyo Grande between March 13-15, 2023.
Residents who experienced damage to their homes from the storms may contact the City’s Community Development Department, (805) 473-5420, for assistance. Financial assistance is available through FEMA for damage suffered as a result of the January 2023 storm events. The deadline to apply to FEMA for assistance is March 16, 2023.
