ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA – The Recreation Services Department is pleased to announce upcoming events for Winter 2023, including two new events in February and March.
- Senior Sweethearts Dance – This event will take place on Saturday, February 11th, at the Woman’s Club Community Center (211 Vernon) from 5-8 p.m. The Senior Sweethearts Dance is recommended for those aged 55 and older. The dance will feature great music from a local band, Three Martini Lunch. Take advantage of an opportunity to dance with friends and partners, enjoy savory treats, socialize, and potentially win a raffle prize. The cost is $25 per couple, or $15 per individual. - Meet the Machines – Come out to a family-friendly event on Saturday, February 25th, from 9am-12pm, at the Soto Sports Complex Parking Lot (1275 Ash Street). This is a FREE event that will offer children a hands-on opportunity to see, touch, learn, and explore the vehicles that protect, build, and serve our community. The first 300 children will receive a FREE goodie bag.
- Arroyo Grande Art in the Park – An exciting new series of Art in the Park events will begin at Elm Street Park on Saturday, March 11th, from 10am-4pm. Local Artists from San Luis Obispo County will be selling fabulous handmade art, jewelry, candles, food, and more. This unique event will feature a youth entrepreneur corner, live music, and something for everyone. This event is also free to attend.
