[ARCHIVED] More City Facilities to Reopen

ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA – The City of Arroyo Grande is pleased to announce the partial reopening of City offices which were closed last year due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. 

Beginning the week of May 10, 2021, the following offices will reopen to the public during the days and times described below:

  • City Hall, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

           300 E Branch Street, (805) 473-5400 or agcity@arroyogrande.org  

  • Public Works Department/Corporation Yard, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

           1375 Ash Street, (805) 473-5460

COVID-19 safety protocol will be observed, including the requirement for face coverings to be worn within City buildings. City services will also continue to be available via phone, email, and through the City’s website.

The following departments reopened to the public in 2020 and will remain open:

  • Recreation Services Department, 1221 Ash Street, (805) 473-5474 or agrec@arroyogrande.org   
  • Police Department, 200 N Halcyon, (805) 473-5100

Five Cities Fire Authority Headquarters remain closed to the public at this time, but staff can be contacted at (805) 473-5490.

“We are pleased to begin taking steps towards ‘normality’ as our County enters the orange tier,” said City Manager, Whitney McDonald, “and we are grateful to our community for their support and encouragement during these closures.”
