What are the current design alternatives being proposed?

  • There are two (2) design alternatives currently being considered.

  • The First Alternative:

    • Closes the northbound on and off ramps at Brisco Road and HWY 101.
    • Completes intersection improvements at Camino Mercado and HWY 101.
    • Completes intersection improvements at East Grand Avenue and HWY 101.
    • Completes bridge widening on East Grand Avenue.
    • Has an estimated cost of $14,000,000.

  • The Second Alternative:

    • Relocates the northbound ramps at Brisco Road to West Branch Street at Rodeo Drive with a round-about.
    • Completes intersection improvements at Grace Lane and Rodeo Drive.
    • Complete intersection improvements at East Grand Avenue and HWY 101.
    • Has an estimated cost of $23,000,000.
